A little about me
Hi, I’m Ella.
I know what it’s like to lose your footing.
I’m Ella Whitley, a life coach who supports parents returning to work after time out. I know how it feels to lose your confidence at a moment you were expecting to feel ready, and I know the difference good coaching can make.

My story
A change I didn’t choose.
A new way forward.
While I was on maternity leave, I was made redundant. Like most people, I buried my head in the sand, told everyone I was fine and tried to ignore the problem.
A few months later, I was surprised by how much of my identity and confidence I had lost. Starting a new job and returning to work felt daunting. Rather than seeing how I’d developed as a new mother, I was questioning my capability and value.
Through coaching, I was able to rebuild my confidence, articulate what I wanted and recognise what I had to offer.
My personal experience is why I want to offer others the same opportunity. I create a safe space where you can pause, take stock of what matters to you and explore what might come next.
How I work.
My coaching is warm, practical and structured. We start with where you are and what you want, then build your confidence step by step, using small actions you try between sessions so you can see the change for yourself. Every package follows a clear journey from start to finish.
I coach women, mothers and fathers. I focus on supporting people through their return to work, rebuilding confidence, or exploring a new chapter. If I think another coach would be a better fit, I’ll say so.
How I see it
You are more than
the chapter you’re in.
Coaching isn’t about being handed a perfect plan. It’s a thoughtful conversation that makes room for your own perspective, strengths and next steps.
Working With MeA client’s perspective
I always come away from our sessions with more clarity and a different perspective on whatever I’ve brought to the conversation.
